Our Plan approval checklist is very thorough:

• Overall size of deck or structure.

• Position relative to building and/or property line.

• Location of all beams and posts.

• Size and on-center (OC) spacing of joints.

• Thickness of structure deck boards.

• Height of the deck above the ground.

• Detail drawings of joinery methods for all structures members of deck.

• Type of soil that will support the concrete post footing, gravel or clay.

• Species of wood used.

• Types of metal connectors and other hardware use.
